The Ford Bronco will come in Eruption Green Metallic for the 2022 model year. This is a modern interpretation and tribute to the paint color Mallard Green used on the first-generation Bronco back in the early- to mid-1970s. Ford is also rolling out the new paint color Hot Pepper Red Metallic. Every Bronco series in the 2022 lineup will be available in the two new paint options.
Barb Whalen, Ford’s color and materials manager, stated that “Automotive fans, especially Bronco lovers, are passionate about colors and will be excited to see Eruption Green. Paint has a wonderful way of evolving because of technology. Eruption Green is a contemporary color, but there’s a connection with Bronco heritage…”
A few colors will be discontinued in 2022, including Antimatter Blue and Lightning Blue Metallic. Cyber Orange will be available in lower trims starting in 2022, as it was previously only for Black Diamond-trimmed models. Visit a local Ford dealership near you to pre-order your new 2022 Bronco.
